So instead of my regular marketing article, I thought you would love and appreciate a blessing, from me to you.

Why do I leap? Because…

My passion for making a difference is far greater
than any fear of failure that might try to slow me down.

My commitment to helping others means
I refuse to hide out or stand still.

My definition of integrity includes
challenging myself to live my truth, no matter what.

I would rather make mistakes than to say I never tried.

And my desire to be a successful entrepreneur
isn’t just a passing fancy.

Which is why, today, I am leaping forward,
without knowing exactly how it will turn out,
but certain that I am living my spiritual path.

Click here if you would rather listen to this article.

One of the single biggest differences between how men and women run their businesses is in the area of boundaries. For the most part, guys rarely spend time worrying about the myriad of boundary issues that can easily (and often do!) consume a woman’s day.

For example, if a prospective client asks to add in more services into a package than they are paying for, most men entrepreneurs will comfortably say no, then upsell the client into a higher end package.

Whereas most women entrepreneurs will first, get upset that this prospective client even made such a request. Then, either say yes and feel guilty that they’re now giving away too much, or, delay responding for days while they figure out how to say no without hurting the client’s feelings.

Ladies, does this sound familiar? I thought so.

Even more telling is this simple exercise: Think about all of the minutes and hours you’ve spent thinking about, talking about with your coach or your business girlfriends and worrying about situations just like this one. Now add them up. You’ll likely see a number that is shocking!

And shocking it should be, because this time is robbing you of energy, self-esteem and growing your business.

So what’s the cure? How do you strengthen your boundaries without coming across like a you-know-what? Here are 3 of my simplest steps for establishing and upholding boundaries with all the grace AND strength of your Divine Feminine spirit, all so you can grow your business with greater ease.

Step #1 Identify Which Of These “Boundary Breakers” You’re Most Likely To Get Hooked Into

While no one likes to admit to getting hooked into a boundary issue, the truth is, it happens to all of us. Which makes it critical for you to know exactly which types of boundary breakers are likely to catch you.

For example: If you routinely over-deliver it’s likely you’ll get hooked by a client asking for more than the package or program they signed up for includes.

Or if you’re someone who inwardly questions her value, you’ll likely attract clients who are never satisfied, demanding, and who want to hold you responsible for their results.

Or if you’re secretly not confident about your fees you’ll know because the people who say they want to work with you never seem to have any money and routinely ask you to customize a payment plan or regularly have payment issues.

Step #2 Know How You Want To Handle These Situations BEFORE They Happen

unprepared isn’t likely to set you up for success. Which is why I highly recommend you’re prepared.

For example, if you tend to cave in when asked to include additional services (at no fee) then prepare by having your program or package benefits listed out in front of you. This way, when asked, you’ll be able to confidently say:

“The package you’ve selected doesn’t include extra private time with me.
However, we can add that in if you want to upgrade to my Premier level service.
Would you like to hear more about Premier?”

Step #3 Avoid Excuses Or The Need To Over Explain

Giving excuses and over explaining comes from the need to please and the need to be loved when a simple “no” will do. The key is to keep breathing and remember my advice: you are not responsible for someone else’s feelings!

By skipping the excuses and the over explanations your confidence will shine through and you’ll have earned your clients’ respect.

Taking Your Business To The Next Level Requires You To Take A Fresh Look At The Boundaries You’re Setting…

It’s true that being an entrepreneur is one of THE greatest spiritual paths you’ll ever walk. And learning how to create and uphold awesome boundaries is a big part of growing not only your client list, but your self-esteem.

So grab a pen and jot down three boundaries you know you need to put into place in order to grow your business and free up your time and energy. Tell your team, your coach and the people closest to you so they can support you as you make this important shift. You can do this and the payoff is worth it!

One of the biggest ways women entrepreneurs hold themselves back from rapidly growing their business is by telling themselves they’re not ready. After coaching thousands of women business owners, I’ve heard it all! Maybe you can relate to some of these examples:

“Kendall, I’m not ready to…charge higher fees, to attract higher paying clients, to let go of my old business model that’s making me crazy and overworked, to be visible, to let go of draining clients, to get my first high-end client, to…”

Crazy as it seems, even though we women mentally want a simpler business, fabulous clients flowing in and the wealth and success that comes from a thriving business, inwardly, our little girl is worried about being good enough.

The only way to soothe this inner worry so that you can take the steps necessary to grow your business with higher paying clients is to get your hands on a practical checklist that makes it easy for you to confidently know you are ready.

Which is why I am excited to get you started with a sampling of what’s included on my “I’m Ready for High End Client Success!” checklist. Use these 4 easy tips to get you started…and watch for an announcement about how you can download my complete checklist coming to you very soon!

Tip #1 For Attracting Higher Paying Clients:
If It’s Not Pretty Or Inspiring, Get Rid Of It

You don’t need to have been in business any great length of time in order to begin attracting higher paying clients. But what you must do is think, act and believe in new ways that represent you valuing yourself! And did you know that your work space represents these thoughts and beliefs? Which means it’s critical that your surroundings set the stage for greater success, helping you to feel confident that you’re charging what you’re worth.

So, what’s on MY desk? Hand-made glass hearts, a gorgeous amethyst crystal, my jeweled Goddess calculator, a blooming orchid, my Money Tracking sheet and my to-do list. What is not on my desk? Clutter, messy stacks of paper and unfinished projects.

If you’re work space is a mess, grab a box, the recycling bin and a shredder and get busy getting rid of everything that isn’t high-end!

Tip #2 For Attracting Higher Paying Clients:
Include A “Done-for-You” Element In Your Programs

When I began adding done-for-you checklists, templates and scripts to my programs, the quality and quantity of my clients skyrocketed. People love anything that saves them time which is why I now include done-for-you materials in all of my workshops and programs.

Start simple. For example, plan on including a simple checklist of getting started tips or helpful do’s and don’ts in your high end client packages. Turn these tips into a colorful sheet that can be downloaded or mailed to your client in a packet. Information presented this way is seen as immensely valuable!

Tip #3 For Attracting Higher Paying Clients:
Follow A Proven Template That Spells Out Your Exact Marketing Steps

Marketing for higher paying clients is tons simpler than most women realize. The trick is to have a step by step plan that lays out for you exactly what to do, when and how. By taking the guesswork out of your marketing, you boost your confidence and your ability to take action.

(I’m giving *3* step by step marketing plans to attendees of my upcoming Leap workshop, including how to market via video, email or in-person, making these plans perfect for you no matter where you’re starting from or what your list size is. Click here for details and to reserve your ticket)

Tip #4 For Attracting Higher Paying Clients:
Create Your Irresistible, High-End Offer

What I love about the higher paying client strategy for rapidly building a business is that you don’t need a list or even tons of experience to get started. What you DO need is a clear offer that is rich with clear results clients will get from working with you. Add in a few bonuses and the details of how you’ll be delivering your service and you have the beginnings of an awesome offer.

Just be sure to avoid the temptation to overload your offer because of the mistaken belief that if people are investing more with you, they need more “stuff”. Higher end programs are elegant in their focus and simplicity.

Should Creating High End Programs Be Part Of Your Business? Yes!

Creating high-end client offers is something every business should be including in their business model. And because it doesn’t require a list it’s the perfect strategy for being a great source of immediate income for you. Plus, if you’re already busy with clients, transitioning to high-end offers frees up your time while increasing your cash flow.

Remember that all it takes to be ready is to make a “yes” decision!

Click here if you would rather listen to this article.

For decades, women thought they had to “be one of the boys” in order to succeed in business. Thankfully, the days of big shoulder-pads and masculine-styled suits are behind us and now, women are seeking out ways to develop their own authentic style of leadership.

Which isn’t always easy, especially as there are few truly feminine, highly successful role models to learn from. I’m often asked:

Kendall, how do you stay in your feminine magic
without giving up your power?

How do you balance the demands of running a thriving business
with the natural rhythms of a woman’s energy, without getting burned out?

How do you know when it’s best to listen to your intuition,
versus keep your decisions ‘just about business’?

As a woman entrepreneur, questions like these can cause you to feel an internal conflict, or struggle, unless you know how to successfully integrate the best of BOTH worlds: masculine and feminine.

Happily, this is surprisingly easy to do, as women have a natural talent for personal growth. And right now is the perfect time for redefining what it means to be a Divine Feminine leader of your business.

Which is why I’m delighted to share with you 3 of my secrets for becoming the Divine Feminine Leader of a successful business.

Secret #1. Redefine What It Means To Be Feminine And A Leader

Too often, our image of being a leader means swaggering, pushing or dominating. All of which are behaviors that are unnatural for a woman. But that doesn’t mean you have to resort to acting disempowered.

What you want to do instead is recognize the leadership qualities that are within you, and give those qualities more of a voice and presence in your business.

For example: If you love to help others in need, instead of rescuing needy, high-drama people, channel that energy into a clearly defined marketing message that gets people excited to enroll into your programs. Then use a portion of your sales to donate to your favorite charity.

Secret #2. Learn How to Set “Bodacious Boundaries”

Women entrepreneurs live dangerously close to burn out when they try to be all things to all people. Yes, you can raise your kids, be happily married and have a thriving business, but not if you’re the one schlepping to the store, running around town and volunteering anytime someone needs a helping hand.

Prioritize what matters most, write it down and check this list every time someone tries to get you to make their priority, yours. And for goodness sake, don’t over explain when you need to say “no”. Saying something like this will greatly simplify your life and keep you focused on what matters most:

“Thank you for thinking of me.
That isn’t something I can say ‘yes’ to at this time”

Secret #3. Give Yourself Permission To Use Your Intuition More, Not Less

You’ll find you make decisions easier and with less stress if you learn to listen to and rely on your intuition. Just be careful not to mistake fear for your internal guidance system.

How will you know the difference? Anytime you’re making a decision, if you are thinking, “I’m not ready. It’s not the right time. I’ll wait. I need to learn/be/do more first” then this is fear, not intuition.

If you see the opportunity to learn and grow, then you are ready!

You’ll Love Who You Become As A Confident, Thriving, Divinely Feminine Leader — I Promise!

Every time I stand in my Divine Feminine Power I’m accessing my God-given abilities to be compassionate, direct and generous. And I know I’m setting an example for others who share these same abilities…and just need someone to model it for them.

Remember this: playing small is not the spiritual contract you must fulfill in your lifetime. Being wholly and powerfully YOU, is!

Click here if you would rather listen to this article.

Whether you’re new to leading teleseminars or you’re a seasoned pro, there comes a moment in every “preview” call where it’s time to ask for the sale.

And while you may think that just because you’re on the phone, no one can see you gulp, trust me, your listeners can instantly detect any indications of nervousness about making your offer.

Since leading teleseminars is one of the the best ways to grow your business and to reach a wider audience, it’s crucial that you learn how to overcome any jitters when it comes time to make your offer.

The few minutes you invest in learning how to make your offer with grace and ease can easily pay you back in more sales, new client opportunities and increased confidence.

Here are 3 tips from my “personal best” file that will help you present your offer on the phone with confidence, grace and ease!

Tip #1. Get Your Listeners Onboard With Your Value Early In Your Call

If your tendency is to over deliver, then it’s likely you’re also overwhelming your listeners with an overload of information, which can prevent them from seeing the value of how you can help them. In addition, over delivering is a form of compensating for the “Am I good enough?” syndrome.

Here’s a fantastic tip that will help you solve this: rather than trying to teach your entire system in a preview call, instead, brainstorm all of the different ways your listeners can apply your information to a variety of situations they’ll likely find themselves in. This gives you a simple way to structure your content that also helps your listeners deeply get how YOU are their solution!

Tip #2. Don’t Let Your Voice Tone Give You Away

If you’re at all nervous about the money piece of your offer, it will show up in an obvious change in your voice tone. My Stars coaching programs members love it when I mentor them that discussing your fees should be as natural, as easy and as simple as asking to “pass the salt.”

How do you do that? Breathe…and practice…and remember, your fees are not a reflection of you but are a reflection of how much you value your work.

Tip #3. Melt-Away Any “Money Nerves”

Everyone has their own particular way of exhibiting “money nerves” when making an offer. Some women entrepreneurs talk too much, speak too quickly or veer into justifying or over explaining.

If this is you, not to worry. By knowing how your “money nerves” may try to take over you can easily put yourself back into the driver’s seat. One simple technique is to script your offer so that you’re not tempted to stray off course or ramble. And if your “money nerves” are to speak too quickly, practice speaking slowly. What feels slow to you will probably sound just right in the moment!

Remember That The Energy You Give Out Matters As Much As Your Words!

Give yourself permission to let your passion and love of what you do shine through in your preview teleseminars. Just remember that you want to be as passionate about making the offer as you are about helping people.

This way, you’ll feel confident as you segue into your offer, the transition will feel seamless and your participants will happily invest in more of your programs, products and services.

One of the biggest roadblocks many women entrepreneurs have to growing their business is thinking they have to first invest in office space, a fancy website, a blog and more before they can be successful.

When I first started what is now a multi-million dollar business, I had a tiny budget. And I thought I would be perceived as more legitimate if I had all of the trappings of a “real” business. So I spent money where I didn’t need to, wasting a lot of my time, effort and my limited budget in the process.

It wasn’t until later that I realized it isn’t the trappings of business that make prospective clients take you seriously. Which is why I want to share with you simple budget-stretching tips to help you attract high-end clients, without breaking the bank.

Tip #1. Focus On Getting Clients Before You Invest In A New Website

While a website is eventually necessary for you to invest in, early on in your business (or when you’re launching the next phase of your business growth) you can skip this time intensive and expensive step. Instead, focus on getting your first few clients, then use your increased cash flow to fund your new website.

I recommend using networking to meet potential new clients. Invite them into a complimentary Discover Session. Then, complete your Discovery Session by offering a Virtual VIP Day. VIP Days are nearly 100% pure profit for you and clients love the high-content value they receive from this intensive format. And the best news is, you don’t need a website to offer VIP Days.

Tip #2. Skip Expensive Office Space In Favor Of This Strategy

Paying for office space that you may only use a few times each month to see clients in is a waste of your budget. Instead, check out many of the shared office rentals that may be available in your city.

Or if you have your eye on an upscale building, ask the receptionist which business might be open to an office sharing arrangement with you. Many businesses have unused space that is expensive for them to maintain, which can make them happy to recoup a bit of their investment.

If your only live client meetings are with VIP clients, where you’re delivering a day of coaching and mentoring, you can check out area hotels as many of these have executive boardrooms or special suites they rent out by the day. Just be sure to negotiate and be prepared to walk away if they won’t accept your budget.

Tip #3. Make Sure Every Penny Is An Investment, Not An Expense

Every networking meeting, coaching program, training course or marketing tool you invest in should give you back a return on your investment. The mistake most women entrepreneurs make is that either they’re not clear ahead of time what the return is they expect or they don’t fully implement what they’re learning and instead, rely on hope to be successful.

Early on in my business, I vowed to implement everything I was learning, no matter what. And as a result, I built up trust in myself and I continually looked for ways to maximize my investment in every course, training or program I invested in. Sometimes that return was in feeling different about myself, helping me to emotionally and energetically leap to the next level.

This helped me grow my confidence to invest at higher and higher levels, even when finding the money to pay for those investments seemed daunting.

Tip #4. Get Your Relationship With Money Handled

Women hesitate to invest in the training and mentoring they need to grow their business because in their heart, they often doubt either their ability to succeed or their ability to handle rapid growth.

This may shock you to hear, but 95% of the success you’ll achieve in your business is due entirely to your relationship with money (and only 5% can be attributed to your marketing). So it makes sense that the more you heal your relationship with money, the quicker and easier you’ll find it is to grow your business, without the overwork, overwhelm or under earning that many women entrepreneurs commonly experience.

A Budget Need Not Ever Limit You From Achieving Your Next Level Of Success!

If you have any thoughts of “I can’t afford it” I recommend taking a closer look at this barrier and apply the tips I’ve just shared with you. “I can’t afford it” is a cover up for fear and doubt, both of which are far more costly than the investment in what you need to grow your business.

Remember, this YOUR business and don’t let anyone, or any hidden doubts or fears, hold you back from achieving what it is you truly want!

Now that the holidays are behind us, it’s time to get busy planning your year.

In the early days of growing my business, I read how, in order to create a successful business, I was supposed to create a business plan. I bought books on business planning and at one point even invested in “do it yourself” business planning software but trying to use it made me cry!

Clearly, these books were not written for a woman’s mindset or to appeal to a woman’s creativity.

So I created my own version of a business plan. One that is simple, easy to complete and creates a compelling vision with clear, attainable goals.

And even though my business has grown from a from-scratch start-up to what is now a multi-million dollar enterprise, I still use the same business planning basics I designed years ago.

If planning isn’t something you do easily, then you’ll especially appreciate the tips I’m sharing with you. I think you’ll find they make it easy for you to clarify your vision, to get focused on what matters most and to stretch yourself into reaching new goals.

Create Your “Yes” List

While there is no shortage of opportunities you could say yes to, what’s key is knowing which options are right for growing your business. To solve this, what I do is create a list of 5 or 6 questions that act as a filter (or a screen) for assessing whether an opportunity is worth pursuing.

Here’s how it works: All 5 questions must get a “yes” answer, else I say “no” to the opportunity. For example, one of my “Yes List” questions is:

“Is this opportunity what a $_____ business owner would do?”
(Use whatever your bold business income goal is to fill in the blank.)

Use The “What If” Strategy For Creating Your 1 And 2 Year Goals

The “What if” strategy is where you ask yourself what you want to accomplish, if nothing were holding you back. The point of this is to create goals that cause you to stretch beyond your comfort zone, rather than to play it safe.

For example, last year, one of my goals was to win a major award. And I did, having been honored with a 2011 Stevie for Women Helping Women. If I hadn’t made this a goal, I never would have challenged myself to step into a greater leadership role via our association, the International Association of Women in Business Coaching.

Remember that what you put on your goals list commands your attention so dream big and be specific.

Commit To These Bold Money Goals

Every woman entrepreneur wants a business that pays her handsomely and that generates income without her always having to trade “dollars for hours”.

To get started creating this for yourself, I recommend committing to an overall annual revenue goal as well as your new “monthly minimum” goal.

For example, let’s say you need to generate $6,000 per month to meet all of your expenses. If you make your monthly minimum goal be $8,000 then you’ll always have what you need. And, once you consistently meet that amount you can raise it.

This is what I do each year to keep challenging myself to grow my business from the inside out.

Did You Notice What Is Missing From This Plan?

It’s the “how to”! The reason is, if you let the “how to” drive your decisions, you’ll stay stuck and playing small. I let my vision determine the how-to and it never fails to get me to stretch, to play a much bigger game and to increase my business every year, no matter what the economy!

As a woman entrepreneur, learning the right marketing strategies will help you create success, but unless you also master certain key emotions, you’ll continue to find yourself challenged as you try to grow your business.

For example, let’s say a client wants to cancel out of their program agreement with you. From a purely business stand point, there are practical steps you’ll take to handle this situation.

But what about your feelings? Situations like these can trigger emotions such as fear, doubt, anger, victimization and more.

And while it’s okay to feel your feelings, if you allow them to take over, you’ll stay stuck in the “how dare they” or the “why is this happening to me” type of mindset that doesn’t help you grow as a person, and doesn’t support you in confidently addressing these common business situations.

What’s helped me in growing my business is to have a checklist of emotional triggers that I’ve focused on healing, so they no longer take over when I find myself in common, challenging business situations.

I wish I’d had a checklist like this in the early days of growing my business, which is why I’m sharing it with you now. I hope you’ll use it to make the personal breakthroughs you need to create a healthy and thriving 6 and 7-figure business!

Know Your “Emotional Switches”

Every woman has certain situations that can trigger feelings of unworthiness, doubt or fear. The good news is, once you pinpoint what these situations are for you, you can catch yourself early in the process of getting triggered, which puts you back in control.

For example, if you’re someone who hates saying no, you’re likely to attract demanding clients who will continually challenge your boundaries. Knowing this, you can create clear boundaries with your clients early on, and, whenever a boundary is challenged, remain calm — breathe! — and gently but firmly let your client know what you will or won’t do.

Know Your “Stress Pattern”

When you’re tired, facing a deadline or feeling pressured, what’s’ likely to slip? Is it your boundaries? Do you get snappish or do you try to micro-manage everything? Being clued in to your own patterns will help you minimize them from trying to take over when these inevitable situations occur.

For example, when under stress, my pattern is to micro-manage details when what would serve me better is to let go and trust others to step up.

By knowing my pattern I can quickly catch myself as I feel tempted to overly direct, and instead, I can ask my team to step up and support me. This not only relieves me of trying to handle everything on my own, but also gives my team a chance to shine when I need them the most!

Know Your “Money Triggers”

Every woman has an area regarding her finances where she can easily find herself getting triggered. Common ones are clients canceling out of programs, refund requests, late paying clients, declining credit cards, programs not filling or unexpected expenses.

Unless you identify which situation is likely to be your money trigger — and have specific steps you can take to stay emotionally centered — you’ll find yourself getting caught up in energy and time wasting money drama.

Yes, money “stuff” happens, but how you handle it is what’s most important because all money stuff is part of a pattern that you ultimately, DO have control of and possess the power to transform.

Being Emotional Is Part Of Being A Woman Entrepreneur…

It’s when you USE your emotions to transform old patterns into new, healthy boundaries that you create amazing breakthroughs for yourself and for your business. Which is why being an entrepreneur is one of the most powerful, spiritual journeys there is!

Every year I evaluate which marketing and business skills I’ve mastered and make a list of the areas that I need to learn more about to keep my business thriving and growing.

While it’s not possible to be an expert in everything (who would even want to be) if you’re serious about growing your business you definitely need to master certain skills. The good news is that once learned, what you can then do is yours for life.

As with all things, fads come and go but happily, there are certain key topics that are tried and true and will serve you all the years you are in business.

Which is why I’m sharing a checklist of my top skills anyone can — and must — master to make your new year start profitably and continue giving you a steady stream of income, month after month.

How To Market And Give Client-Attracting Discovery Sessions

Even highly leveraged businesses (those that focus on teleseminars, group programs, information products and workshops) still require 1-on-1 conversations. Why? Because the bottom line of any successful business isn’t just the profits it posts, but the people you connect with. Knowing how to conduct Discovery sessions is a skill you’ll use when meeting with new clients, potential joint venture partners and more.

How To Market And Deliver Lucrative, In-Person And Virtual VIP Days

My favorite strategy for giving any business a quick income boost is to offer VIP Days. These are so surprisingly simple to design, market and deliver that most of our clients are collecting their first VIP Day client deposits within just a few days of learning how they work. Even better, VIP Days are perfect if you’re in the early stages of growing your list or you don’t have a website.

How To Deliver Profitable Workshops Of Any Size

You may have noticed the proliferation of workshops being offered by entrepreneurs in a wide variety of areas. That’s because there’s no substitute for connecting with prospective clients than being with them live, as you deliver your magic.

And when you present your workshop participants with a juicy offer to work with you more closely, such as in a private or group program, you create the perfect “big pay day” for you, and an awesome opportunity for your clients to get your specialized help for an extended period of time. While I recommend starting with delivering small events (10-25 people) these can still be amazing pay days for you once you know the ins-and-outs of marketing and filling your live event.

How To Charge What You’re Worth

As long as you’re in business you’ll need to know how to appropriately set your fees so that you’re maximizing your time and not under charging. Be sure to follow a system that takes the guesswork out of figuring out your fees, so that you don’t run the risk of picking a number out of thin air.

How To Make Sure You’re Maximizing The Potential Of Your Niche

Would you be surprised to know that even after building a multi 7-figure business, we still re-evaluate our niche each year? Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned entrepreneur, it’s wise to give your niche a check-up, ensuring that you’re keeping up with new trends your clients are experiencing, and that you’re uniquely positioning yourself within your market.

No matter which skill set you choose to focus on this year, make sure you get step by step help and expert training. This way, you’ll shortcut your path to success and you’ll see the results you want, sooner.

As a woman entrepreneur, whether your business is robustly moving forward or you’re just getting started, it’s common to have a bit of “emotional money baggage” you may be carrying around, that is slowing you down.

For example, maybe you have debt, or perhaps you’re ready to increase your fees but you’re feeling a few pangs of guilt. Or maybe you see the perfect mentoring program you want to invest in but your spouse is skeptical that it will be a wise investment.

One thing is certain, if you carry past baggage with you into the new year, you’ll have a much tougher time creating success. Which is why this is the perfect time of year to give your finances a fresh start.

The mistake most women entrepreneurs make is in not knowing exactly what kind of financial actions they should take. It just isn’t a topic that’s often discussed.

Which is why I’m sharing 3 of my BEST tips with you on how to give your finances a fresh start as you head into the new year.

And while you may not be able to waive a fairy wand and magically make your debt disappear or make your husband have a sudden change of faith, you can create a plan that addresses the spiritual, emotional and practical components that make up every woman business owner’s financial future.

Tip #1 – Stop Being A Victim Of The Past

Women hold themselves to a level of perfectionism that leaves no room for mistakes. Trust me, we’ve all lent money to people we shouldn’t have, given away our power with money, let concern over what others would think keep us playing small or we’ve made decisions to by something that we later regretted.

You can’t change the past but what you can do is stop carrying it around with you! So instead of feeling guilt or shame, or blaming fate or circumstances for what’s happened, learn how to forgive yourself. Forgiveness is an act of extreme compassion and understanding for the small part of you that was doing her best when you made those decisions.

Tip #2 – Don’t Let Debt Stop You From Growing Your Business

Many women entrepreneurs ask me, “Kendall, how can I invest in growing my business when I have debt?”

Firstly, realize that the best way to pay off your debt is likely to be by growing your business, as you’ll then have the increased cash you need to make more than your minimum monthly payments.

Next, understand that investing in growing your business while you may still have debt makes perfect sense if you are committed to implementing. I’ve coached hundreds of women entrepreneurs on my signature debt pay-off strategy and I’ve discovered that those who take decisive action in their business are also the ones who pay off their debt faster than others.

Tip #3 – Create Money Boundaries That Empower You And Others

Women tend to cave in on their boundaries because in some way they feel responsible for other peoples’ feelings. But giving in means giving up your self-respect and losing the respect of others. And that negative energy often flows through into other areas of your business, impacting your fees, the types of clients you attract, and so much more.

My advice? It’s far better to experience a moment of discomfort when upholding a boundary than it is to untangle a money mess later on.

Remember, you don’t need to be the wicked witch when it comes to maintaining a boundary. Boundaries are easily upheld from a place of caring, compassion and connection, all of which helps you stand in your power with Divine Feminine energy, grace and confidence!
