Here in the U.S. we’re about to celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday. Great food, close-knit family and tons of appreciation and gratitude, which is why it’s my FAVORITE holiday. And yes, even as vegetarians, we put together an impressive feast :-))
While I count my blessings daily, this is a special day of taking stock of just how far we’ve come…one of my mentors last week said to me, “Kendall, do you realize just how many lives you are transforming, from your clients to your team and to all of the people they come into contact with?”
Working in my home office (yes, I still run my multi million dollar business with an entirely virtual team) it’s easy to lose sight of just how far I’ve come, and how many peoples’ lives I’ve transformed, and will continue to over the coming months as we head into an exciting new year.
So instead of my usual weekly high-content article, let me share this with you today, from my heart to yours…
You are someone who is important to me and I so appreciate YOU and your commitment to getting your gifts out into the world in a meaningful and yes, monetized way.
I know the joy of how amazing it feels to be paid to do work you love. I get to feel that every day and I’m deeply grateful to be able to share my knowledge with you on your entrepreneurial journey.
Being a woman entrepreneur is a path of discovering the best within us, of embracing our fears with courage and commitment, and of stepping into faith as we learn to trust how truly great we are, without apology and with the full knowledge that by giving energy to our strengths we create a full, rich and abundant life.
So I hope you’ll take this day to let go of comparing, self-doubt or any inner critic voice of not good enough. I hope you will see yourself mirrored in my eyes as being truly amazing…and as someone I believe in without reservation. And I hope you’ll use this day to turn up the volume on feeling gratitude for the gifts that God gave you, that no one else can bring into the world like you can. Yes, YOU!
And while you’re in this moment of feeling loved and appreciated, why not set your intentions for next year? Why not imagine celebrating being surrounded by people who ‘get’ you, who champion you to reach your goals, and who hold you as powerful, no matter what (because you are)?
