What happens next? A rush of adrenaline and a flurry of desperate actions, along with those “OMG, how did I get here?!” cold-sweat moments in the middle of the night.
Ladies, listen up! Because this is not the life of grace and ease you dream of as a Divine Feminine Entrepreneur.
While for women, our businesses are a deeply personal expression of ourselves, at the end of the day, it’s landing new clients that keeps us in business.
So what is the solution?
First, it’s to decide that you are ready (okay, MORE than ready) to break free of this cycle that keeps threatening your sanity and your self-worth.
Your goal? To have a steady stream of clients flowing in every week or two, keeping your income climbing and creating ever-increasing cash flow to grow your business, pay off debt, save for your future and to have fun with!
Now, with that decision made what’s the next step? It’s to create a new rush of clients, by taking advantage of low-hanging fruit. Meaning, those potential clients who are already in your world.
Here are a few of my favorite tips on how to quickly and easily sign up new clients, as many as 5 (or more) in the next month. My only request? Stay OPEN as you read these tips. Rejecting any one of them could cost you the loss of a client…and the additional referrals they bring.
Tip #1: Offer A New Service To An Existing Client
When was the last time you offered a VIP Day to an existing client? Even if they’ve had a VIP Day with you in the past, there’s no reason to pass up this golden opportunity of offering another opportunity to work with you in a 1-day virtual or live intensive.
Tip #2: Ask Your Clients For A Referral
How long ago was it that you asked your clients for a referral? To make it easy for them, draft a short email they can send. The point of the email is to invite the reader to a Discovery Session with you. Keep it brief and friendly. Then ask your clients to send it to a minimum of 5 people they know would be a great fit for working with you.
Tip #3: Reconnect With Past Leads
“Hi, this is __________. I was thinking about you recently and want to check in to see how _______ is going for you. Have you reached your goals? And if not, let’s talk about how I can help you.”
Tip #4: Claim A “Do Over” With Past Discovery Session “No’s”
If you heard “no” from someone, yet you know they are your ideal client, you can easily reach out to them again with a “do over”. Use the same script above, letting them know they’ve been on your mind.
Tip #5: Host An Informal Afternoon Event
Spending even just a couple of hours with you in person is the best way to get people excited about how you can help them solve a specific problem. Ask each of your guests to bring a friend or colleague with similar issues and you’ll quickly have a room full of potential clients.
Tip #6: Reach Out To Past Clients
Why not offer a special boost of YOU to past clients? You can easily offer a VIP Day or a short, 30-90 day program focused on getting them unstuck and to the next level.
Tip #7: Host A Sale And Include A Complimentary Discovery Session
Do you have any recorded content just lying around? If so, it’s time to offer it to your list and include a complimentary Discovery Session as a bonus. These Discovery Sessions can easily turn into new clients.
Tip #8: Get Out From Behind Your Computer
Sure, online businesses are great. But people need to get to know YOU. Attend a few local events or networking meetings with the goal of offering a Discovery Session.
