Who *not* to ask what your coaching prices should be

Does this happen to you?

You create a new coaching package and your first question is, “What do I charge?”

So you turn to the people around you for advice.

That usually means calling a friend or a colleague and asking, “I’m creating this great program I’m really excited about. It’s going to have x amount of coaching calls every month, and worksheets, and…and…and (listing everything in it)… what do you think I should charge?”

Boom! In that moment it happened.

You innocently made yourself vulnerable to their mindset, attitudes, and beliefs about MONEY.

And since most people have a lot of negative thoughts and feelings about money, trust me, these will come through in the opinion they give you about what you should charge.

They may think it’s wrong or bad to charge more, or that it’s not possible or acceptable to raise your fees or they may have a lot of doubts about how much you should be charging.

All of their money conditioning or programming is going to bleed through the advice they give you, which ends up leaving you feeling as if you just took all of their money stuff onto your shoulders.

Plus, on the flip side, when you ask other people what to charge you’re making yourself vulnerable to their mindset, attitudes and beliefs about YOU.

Because even the people who love you dearly have their own ideas or opinions about who they think you are.

So their advice to you is naturally going to reflect those opinions.

Oftentimes the people closest to us are well-meaning, but because they want to protect you they try to keep you from making any significant change. And let’s face it, they can secretly feel a little threatened or even jealous.

Plus, if you’re an intuitive or empathetic person, and when you ask others what you should charge, you’re at risk of giving away your power. This is not where you want to be an energetic sponge, taking on everyone else’s thoughts and feelings.

Figuring out what to charge is actually a pretty simple process that starts with you being aligned and really owning the results you help clients achieve.

If you’re coaching women business owners (which I believe is the best niche on the planet) then you can likely charge 2-5 times more than you might initially think you can.

Remember this:

You have permission to earn more.

You have permission to receive more.

You have permission to be a woman of wealth.
